Minor Leagues: Reading's Naylor delivers a shutout

ALTOONA, Pa. - Drew Naylor pitched a three-hit shutout Monday to give the Reading Phillies a 3-0 victory against Altoona in the final game of their Eastern League season. Reading finished with a 69-72 record.

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - Austin Romine and Marcos Vechionacci homered as the Thunder (83-59) beat the Rock Cats. Trenton opens the EL playoffs Wednesday against visiting New Hampshire.

ALLENTOWN - Brandon Laird's RBI double in the top of the 12th gave the Yankees the win over the IronPigs (58-86) in the International League finale.

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Kyle Lafrenz was 3 for 3 with a homer to lead the BlueClaws (42-27) to the South Atlantic League win.
