Crisis averted. At least that was what it seemed for Jimmy Rollins last night in the wake of the Phillies' 10-6 win over the Marlins. Rollins left in the third inning with tightness in his right hamstring.
Manager Charlie Manuel said his shortstop had been feeling under the weather all day, and that he was suffering from dehydration. Rollins didn't participate in batting practice, but started and hit sixth in the lineup - his third straight game out of the leadoff spot. He went 2-for-2, but ran gingerly on a third-inning double, and looked even slower when scoring on a base hit by Carlos Ruiz.
