Game of the Week

Miami (Fla.) at Ohio State, 3:30 p.m., ESPN: The 2002 national championship game (played Jan. 3, 2003 in the Fiesta Bowl), won by the Buckeyes, was too long ago to define this as a rematch. But there are those in Hurricane country who would love to see their team exact revenge, still mindful of the controversial finish at the end of the first overtime that enabled Ohio State to tie.

This is Buckeyes quarterback Terrelle Pryor's chance to star on a big stage, and for 'Canes QB Jacory Harris to show that his team is back in the BCS championship discussion.

Pick Six

(All games listed below are Saturday.)Penn State at Alabama, 7 p.m., ESPN, WNTP-AM (990): The Nittany Lions all talked about how cool and calm freshman Robert Bolden was in his first game. We'll see how true that is with 101,000 crimson-clad folks screaming at him.

Florida State at Oklahoma, 3:30 p.m., 6ABC: This gives Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher the opportunity to show the program is in good hands, and for the Sooners to regain the respect they lost last year.

Georgia at South Carolina, noon, ESPN2: The Bulldogs are missing a vital piece in suspended wide receiver A.J. Green, while Gamecocks coach Steve Spurrier could use a high-profile victory.

Michigan at Notre Dame, 3:30 p.m., NBC10: Talk about two fan bases who definitely want to believe that their team has returned to football glory; here's their chance.

Oregon at Tennessee, 7 p.m., ESPN2: This isn't going to be a 72-0 walk in the park for the Ducks. At least the Oregon mascot, who did a total of 506 push-ups last week working after every score, can be thankful.

South Florida at Florida, noon, Comcast Network: Gosh, the Gators can't be as bad as they looked last week - eight fumbles (three lost) and only 25 total offense yards after three quarters. Or can they?
