A 40-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in the hit-and-run death of a 44-year-old bicyclist in Deptford late Tuesday.
Charged is Mary Dalton, of 101 Redstone Ridge Drive, Deptford Township.
The victim has been identified as Thomas McCoy, of Mantua Avenue, Woodbury.
The Gloucester County's Prosecutor's Office said Dalton, behind the wheel of a Ford Explorer, hit McCoy about 11:30 p.m. on the northbound side of Delsea Drive near Holy Trinity School.
McCoy apparently had been returning from a shopping trip at a nearby Wal-Mart, officials said.
