One person was killed today in a one-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike in Bordentown, according to the state police.
A driver of a bobtail tractor-trailer collided with the divider in the southbound lane, just south of exit 7 on the Turnpike shortly before 3 p.m. The vehicle went up in flames, trapping the driver inside.
Soutbound lanes are closed at the location in Bordentown, around mile post 53. The northbound lanes are significantly restricted.
