The Flyers have recalled 6-foot-1, 196-pound left wing Andreas Nodl from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.
Nodl will be available to play in Thursday's season opener at Pittsburgh and will wear No. 15.
Nodl, 23, appeared in seven of the Flyers' eight preseason games. He did not register a point and had six shots and a minus-1 rating to go along with two penalty minutes.
