4 hurt in W. Phila. school bus crash

  • An Atlantic Express school bus collided with a car Monday morning at the intersection of 63rd St. and Lebanon Avenue in West Philadelphia on Monday morning. Four children were taken to Children's Hospital with minor injuries.

At least four children were injured - none seriously - in a school bus crash this morning in West Philadelphia, officials said.

The Atlantic Express bus carrying 18 students collided into the rear of a car at 63rd Street and Lebanon Avenue in the Overbrook section about 7:40 a.m., fire officials said.

Four students were taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for treatment of minor injuries, officials said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
