Eagles Notes: Losing the limp, Vick says he's 90 percent healthy

January 05, 2011

Apparently, Michael Vick's quadriceps bruise improved 15 percent in less than 24 hours.

A day after the Eagles quarterback told a Virginia Beach radio station that his injury went from 50 to 75 percent, Vick said Tuesday on WIP-AM (610) that he was 90 percent healthy.

Vick hurt his thigh on the first play of the Vikings game last Tuesday. He played the rest of the way but sat out Sunday's season finale against the Cowboys.

Asked by reporters Monday if he was 100 percent for Sunday's playoff game against Green Bay, Vick said he was "getting there."
