S. Jersey Girls: Renegades find the range, defeat Cherry Hill West

Freshman guard Olivia Askin made a pair of huge three-point baskets, including the go-ahead trey from the left wing with 13 seconds remaining in the second overtime, as host Shawnee outlasted Cherry Hill West, 60-57, on Thursday in Olympic Conference girls' basketball.

Askin, who finished with eight points, also buried a shot from beyond the arc that pulled the Renegades even with 30 seconds left in regulation.

Erin Molina had 18 points and Kelsey Kennedy scored 15 - including four three-pointers - for Shawnee. Cherry Hill West had its own long-range sniper, with Lisa Kosteleski draining three shots from downtown to lead all scorers with 23 points.

In other Olympic action:

Cherry Hill East senior guard Marie Boisvert scored 17, boosting her four-year total to 1,003 points, highlighting a 61-46 win at Washington Township.

Brittany Snow capped her 23-point performance by scoring nine in the fourth quarter, as Seneca rallied to nip host Paul VI, 46-42. The Eagles were led by Adrienne Small's 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Hope Phillips fashioned a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Taylor Hudspeth came up with four steals to go with 14 points in pacing host Bishop Eustace to a 57-38 home win over Woodrow Wilson. Kamari Talley (17 points) and Shanice Maynard (14) carried the Tigers' attack.

Cape-Atlantic. Jade Howard reached the 1,000-point mark on a putback in the final period, and the senior forward added three more points to finish with 21 in sparking St. Joseph to a 48-38 victory at Our Lady of Mercy.

Tri-County. Junior Kenya Woods set her career-high, single-game scoring mark with 26 points, including a pair of free throws with 27 seconds left that put host Salem ahead to stay in a 58-56 win over Kingsway.

Shaqui Coppage and Taylor Keen chipped in a dozen points apiece for the Rams, while Kingsway received the bulk of its offense from Maddie Flynn (14), Taylor Johnson (13), Heather Juhring (13), and Liz Faulkner (10).

Jackie Short (19 points) and Taylor Christina (10) combined to sink six shots from beyond the arc, paving the way for Delsea's 50-24 triumph at Schalick.

Tori Smick (14 points) scored 10 in a 20-1, first-quarter blitz, and sophomore Alex Battle filled the stat sheet with eight points, five assists, four rebounds, and four steals, as Woodstown pounded host Pennsville, 51-7.
