Life & Style on Wednesday reported that the Kate Gosselin reality-TV casualty - and ladies' man - had been hired to do sales for Global Green Property Services in Ardmore. But gossip site RumorFix.com cites an unnamed pal who says Jon quit because the job "involved too much travel for him." (Or was it just too much real work?)
Global Green had not returned a call for comment by deadline.
Rich guy gives comic $1 million
Brooklyn comic and Onion scribe
Craig Rowin, who posted a YouTube vid asking for $1 mil (in exchange for his gratitude), claims a rich dude named
Benjamin has answered his plea.
"It still hasn't sunk in yet," Rowin, 27, tells the New York Daily News. "Do I deserve it? I have no idea. Maybe not."
Rowin, whose story seems ripped off the pages of the Onion, has produced a notarized letter from his benefactor as proof. He says he'll reveal Benjamin's full identity when he picks up his check Feb. 2 at a Manhattan theater.
Consider this my official request: I'd appreciate $5 mil, please.
GLAAD gives nods to 'Glee,' 'True Blood'

Film nods went to The Kids Are All Right and Easy A, while the Stephen Moyer-Anna Paquin-enriched True Blood and Fox's Glee received TV-show noms. Awards will be handed out in three ceremonies: March 19 in New York, April 16 in Los Angeles, and May 14 in San Francisco.
Want a healthy baby? Use a silencer
Kelly Preston, 48, tells NBC's
Today show that
Benjamin, her "miracle" baby with
John Travolta, 56, will be healthy and free of negativity because she gave birth in total, absolute silence, following the teachings of Scientology.
Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard "found that the single source of aberration, of psychosomatic illnesses, stress, fears, worry, things like that," Preston says, "have to do with the reactive mind, and in that part of the mind is different words and commands that can come back to affect you later in your life."
Preston did note that "if you need to moan, if you cry out or all of that, of course, is normal."

Does
Anne Hathaway feel particularly
feline?
Warner Bros. thinks so: They've asked the 28-year-old Becoming Jane star to drop her pride and prejudice to play Catwoman opposite Christian Bale's batty hero in The Dark Knight Rises. ("Brilliant or Boneheaded?" asks Time.) Inception's Tom Hardy will play the mega-ripped mega-villain Bane. Helmer Christopher Nolan says he is "thrilled" to work with Anne. Well, duh.
Now that Jaden Smith has helped bag $350 mil in worldwide tix sales for Sony in The Karate Kid, dad Will Smith is turning his fond gaze at Jaden's sis, Willow. Variety says Will is helping Sony develop a movie remake of Annie, starring Willow as the irrepressible Pollyanna. Will it be a full-fledged musical? No word.
Jennifer Lawrence, 20, who turned in last year's best acting performance in Winter's Bone, says she had to be painted naked daily for months in these surreal marathon makeup sessions for her role as Mystique in X-Men: First Class.
"Those girls and I got so close," she says of the seven makeup artists. "It was kind of like going to a really bizarre sleepover."
