Temple coach Steve Addazio has reached back into his high-school coaching days for the newest assistant on his staff.
Sean McGovern, who captained a Connecticut state championship team at Cheshire High, coached by Addazio, has joined Temple's staff as a defensive assistant.
McGovern spent the past seven seasons at New Hampshire, the last four as defensive coordinator. A graduate of Fordham, McGovern also coached at New Haven, West Virginia Tech, Duquesne, Pittsburgh and Occidental College.
