A 40-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday night in the Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia, police said.
The victim was shot multiple times around 8:30 p.m. in the 5000 block of Westminster Avenue, said Officer Tanya Little. He was transported by a medic unit to the Hospital of the Unievrsity of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead at 9:08 p.m.
No arrests were reported.
