On Wednesday, Mayor Nutter will sit down with gay and lesbian leaders to talk about his administration's decision to sell the Boy Scouts building to the youth group to settle a lawsuit that the city lost.
The meeting follows a letter sent Feb. 25 by members of the mayor's advisory board on lesbian, gay, and transgender affairs asking him not to settle the federal case.
"The City of Philadelphia should continue the appeal process to continue the fight against discrimination," said the letter, first reported in the Philadelphia Gay News.
