PHILLY HAS THE WORST fans. Philly has the best fans.

Will somebody make up their damn mind?

Last week, GQ magazine wrote that Phillies and Eagles fans were the worst in sports.

Yesterday, another survey listed Phillies fans as the best in baseball. Go figure.

Brand Keys Inc. released its 19th annual Sports Loyalty Index and the Fightins fans were deemed the most loyal in Major League Baseball.

Patriots fans were No. 1 in the NFL. Only the top five teams were listed, but in an e-mail to the Daily News last night, Brand Keys president Robert Passikoff said the Eagles fans finished sixth.

Flyers fans were second to Detroit's in the NHL, and Spurs fans were tops in the NBA.

The Phillies supplanted the Red Sox, who were No. 1 for the past 2 years.

The survey was based on data from 250 fans in each team's market and looked at several factors, including the way players approach the game.

"With the Phillies, every game seems to count to the whole team," Passikoff told Bloomberg. "They seem to take it more personally."

Must have been those Shamrock Shakes

Two Fridays ago, we reported that runner Joe D'Amico had vowed to eat only McDonald's food during the 30 days leading up to the Los Angeles Marathon.

At the time, we wrote that "someone should tell him the fast-food empire already has a clown."

Well, it seems the joke is on us.

On Sunday, the 36-year-old D'Amico finished 29th overall in a personal-best time of 2 hours, 36 minutes and 13 seconds.

The Hamburglar was 45th in 2:45.12. Ronald, claiming his oversized shoes slowed him down, did not finish.

D'Amico, of Palatine, Ill., told the Chicago Sun-Times the best part of the experience was that he was able to raise $27,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

After the race, he and his wife went out to eat.

They did not go to McDonald's.
