A man shot dead Saturday in a car in a public housing parking lot in Powelton has been identified as Quince Morant, 28, of the 3700 block of Wallace Street, also in Powelton.
Morant was in the passenger seat when he and the driver were shot multiple times in the Westpark Apartments lot on the 4400 block of Holden Street. After the shooting, the driver took the car to Powelton Avenue near 43d Street and called police.
Morant died at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where the other man remains in critical condition. No arrests have been reported in the case. - Inquirer staff
