Kehoe appointed coach of Holy Family men

Holy Family University has named a new men's basketball coach to replace John O'Connor, who resigned in February after a videotaped conflict with a former player at practice.

Holy Family announced yesterday it has named R.C. Kehoe as the coach. Kehoe, the nephew of Saint Joseph's head coach Phil Martelli, recently finished his fifth season as an assistant with the Delaware men's team.

O'Connor resigned shortly before the team's season finale after a video surfaced showing O'Connor pushing former player Matt Kravchuk at practice, knocking him to the floor and pushing him with his foot when he was down.

Kravchuk left the team and sought criminal charges against his former coach, but prosecutors declined to file charges. *
