The late Katharine Danner, born Katharine Kile, was once married to violin maker William Moennig Jr., whose world-famous Rittenhouse Square violin shop remained in his family for nearly 100 years until it closed last year.
Another granddaughter is actress Katherine Moennig, who starred on Showtime's "The L Word."
Reached last night, Katherine's mother, Mary Zahn, a former Broadway dancer, declined to comment on Paltrow's slur of her late mother-in-law, the mother of her late husband Bill Moennig 3rd.

* Sean "Diddy" Combs turned heads as
he strolled through the Borgata lobby on his way to his suite at the Water Club over the weekend. The rap mogul crashed at the hotel after his Diddy Dirty Money show at House of Blues and after hosting a party at the C5 club inside the Chelsea.
* Michael Vick and his kids stopped by Dave & Buster's (325 N. Columbus) the other night for food and games.
* Mayor Nutter performed "Rapper's Delight," by Sugarhill Gang, Tuesday night at Time (1315 Sansom), where he had several drinks during the open-mike night with drummer Peter Gaudioso and guitarist Marc Lomax.
Marlton guy is in 'Memphis'
Marlton-native actor Bryan Langlitz is part of the cast of the Broadway show "Memphis," composed by Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan. The show also will be broadcast tonight, this weekend and next week in area movie theaters. For info, visit FathomEvents.com.
