Fight fans: Prepare to dust off those sparkly muscle tees and TapouT baseball caps, because the Ultimate Fighting Championship is returning to Philadelphia.

While there was no official announcement, a source in the organization confirmed to the Daily News that UFC 133 will be Aug. 6 at the Wells Fargo Center. The rumor was first reported by the blog MMAFighting.com on Monday.

The main event will feature Rashad Evans (15-1-1, MMA record) against UFC rising power Phil Davis (9-0 MMA record). Davis, a former Penn State wrestler from Harrisburg, is coming off a win over fight legend Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at the last UFC Fight Night (March 26). Davis was added after light heavyweight champion Jon Jones (13-1 UFC) damaged a ligament in his right hand, forcing cancellation of his first title defense.

Story continues below.

"It's going to be crazy," Davis said of his fight in Philadelphia. "It's only come out since Monday that I will be the main event, and people everywhere from Philly - all of my friends, family and the different organizations I was associated with - have been calling to congratulate me," David said.

UFC was last in Philadelphia on Aug. 8, 2009. UFC 101: Declaration offered the sellout crowd at the Center a pair of main events: BJ Penn and Kenny Florian squared off in the lightweight championship, with Penn winning by submission; then, light heavyweight Anderson Silva celebrated a first-round knockout of Forrest Griffin.

"Philly is one of those cities that is just raw," Davis said. "The people there are live wires. I am excited to return to a town that I truly have a lot of respect for, and I hope that, in front of all my family and friends, I'll prove I have the stuff."

On Saturday, the Rogers Centre in Toronto hosts UFC 129, featuring welterweights Georges St-Pierre (21-2 UFC) and Jake Shields (26-4-1 UFC) in the main event. *
