Police on Monday released the names of three men killed in separate shootings Sunday.
Slain at a playground on the 3000 block of North 27th Street was Brian Jones, 25, of the 2100 block of West Allegheny Avenue, police said. A 19-year-old man also was wounded in the shooting just before noon and remained hospitalized at Temple University Hospital.
Police said James Wright, 25, of the 300 block of Washington Avenue, was shot and fatally wounded about 8:40 p.m. not far from his home on the 900 block of South Fourth Street in Queen Village. And police said the man found shot dead on the 1300 block of North 21st Street about 1 a.m. was Daniel Lee, 55, of the 3400 block of West Huntingdon Street.
