AUSTIN, Texas - Texas Gov. Rick Perry flirted again Tuesday with the idea of running for president, saying he still had time to think about joining a crowded field seeking the Republican nomination.
The three-term governor told Fox News he needed to go through "a thought process" before making a decision about whether to run. "I'm not sure you have to make a decision in a month," he said.
Perry would bring conservative bona fides, a proven fundraising record, and a fresh voice to a field in which many conservatives are looking for an alternative to front-runner Mitt Romney.
