Acting quickly, police officers arrested three men and recovered the money stolen from a Northeast Philadelphia bank minutes earlier, officials say.
Details are still sketchy, but initial reports say three masked men held up at gunpoint the PNC bank at 2200 Cottman Ave. in the Castor section about 1:15 p.m.
Officers quickly gave pursuit and nabbed the trio about 10 minutes later on the nearby 7200 block of Oakland Street, police said.
Besides the money, the officers also recovered at least one gun.
