Kim Townsend, a former school bus driver in Bensalem Township, had over twice the legal limit of alcohol in her system when the bus she was driving hit a car near the corner of Knights Road and Street Road in Bensalem Township last month.
Officials said the woman seemed intoxicated after the crash, according to reports, and administered a blood test shortly afterward.
The results of Townsend's test, which police released Tuesday, showed she had a 0.19 blood-alcohol-level about an hour after the crash.
At the time of the accident, there were no children on the bus, and neither Townsend nor the driver of the car that she hit were injured.
