READING - Matt Rizzotti slugged a home run to deep right field in the 11th inning Monday and the Reading Phillies walked off with a 7-6 victory over Eastern League rival Trenton and a sweep of their four-game series.

Phillies closer Brad Lidge pitched a clean sixth inning, striking out two, in a rehab appearance. The righthander threw 13 pitches, nine for strikes.

The Thunder had tied the game in the ninth on a three-run homer by Jose Pirela.

Reading built a 6-3 lead on a two-run single in the eighth by Freddie Galvis, Paco Figueroa's RBI double in the third, and a three-run second keyed by Figueroa's RBI single.

Trenton got off to a quick 2-0 start when Raymond Kruml led off the game with a homer to right and Bradley Suttle lofted a solo shot to center two batters later.
