When: Friday-Sunday

If you go: The museum is open Friday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

Parking: Will be extremely limited. Recommended areas are the Blue Lot south of Cooperstown on Route 28, the Red Lot on Route 28 at Maple Street, and the Yellow Lot on Route 80 at the Fenimore Art Museum. Trolleys will be available and look for signs as you approach Cooperstown from the south on Route 28, starting in Milford. Admission is free.

Hall of Fame Awards Presentation

New event provides fans another Hall of Fame Weekend experience, while bringing more attention to the award winners. The program will begin with the introduction of the Hall of Fame members (who will be on stage behind the award winners, just as the main induction), followed by the performance from Terry Cashman, of "Talkin' Baseball," and the award presentations and speeches of the three Award winners - Daily News columnist Bill Conlin (Spink Award), Marlins radio announcer Dave Van Horne (Frick Award) and Roland Hemond (Buck O'Neil Lifetime Achievement Award). MLB Network will air the ceremony on tape delay Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Hall of Fame Parade of Legends

Main Street

Hall of Famers and award winners will begin parade at Doubleday Field, with the three award winners leading it into the Hall of Fame for a private reception and family photos.

SUNDAY

1:30 p.m.

Induction Ceremony

Clark Sports Center

The Class of 2011 features BBWAA inductees Roberto Alomar and Bert Blyleven, in addition to Expansion Era Committee electee Pat Gillick.

(Note: The ceremony will be outdoors, barring severe weather, and will last 2 hours. Seating is unlimited and free. Blankets and lawn chairs are recommended for comfortable viewing.) MLB Network will air the ceremony live.
