Minor Leagues: IronPigs rally to beat Pawsox, 5-4

 PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Delwyn Young's two-run homer capped a three-run, eighth-inning rally as the Lehigh Valley IronPigs defeated the Pawtucket Red Sox, 5-4, in the International League.

Joe Savery (2-0) picked up the win in relief, and Justin De Fratus notched his first save.

Rich Thompson also homered for the IronPigs, a solo shot in the fifth.

Binghamton 11, Reading 1

READING - Joe Esposito (3-2) was tagged for three homers and five runs in four innings, and the R-Phils never recovered in the Eastern League rout by the Mets. Binghamton added three more homers off reliever Derrick Loop in a four-run ninth.

Bowie 8, Trenton 6

BOWIE, Md. - A three-run fifth inning by the Baysox gave them the lead for good in the Eastern League win over the Thunder. Zoilo Almonte homered for Trenton.

Clearwater 2, Fort Myers 1

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Jonathan Singleton's eighth home run of the season, a two-run shot in the first inning, gave the Threshers all the runs they would need in a win over the Miracle in the Florida State League contest.

Julio Rodriguez (12-6) went seven innings, allowing three hits and a run and striking out 10 for the win.
