Traffic has come to a near standstill on Interstate 476 while police and medics respond to an accident that blocked the southbound lanes in Woodlyn, Delaware County.
Officials were on the scene today of the accident near the highway's juncture with Interstate 95 at about 3:30, as rush hour traffic began to build.
Backups from the accident are compounded with another accident on I-476 near Media, and traffic is crawling south from Springfield Township to Woodlyn.
