"Well I guess Danny continues to be at the wrong place at the wrong time," Cahn told us yesterday, after learning about his beating. "What was he doing out at 2 a.m.?"
As for her whereabouts during the attack, Cahn said she was "at home fast asleep with a lock on my underwear drawer."
Comedians Ed McGonigal, Mike Rainey, Joe Mayo, Tommy Pope, Dirty Diamond and Benny Michaels will perform at a fundraiser for Ozark Saturday night at the Irish Pol (45 S. 3rd).
There's no cover, but donations are appreciated, McGonigal said.
Ozark won't be there; he's working as a DJ at the Laff House (221 South), where Mike Brooks is headlining that night. Ozark says the local comedy community has already given him enough money for his medical expenses so he'll donate proceeds from Saturday's event to Dustin Walls, a local man with cancer whom Mayo and Rainey have been helping through their Comedians for a Cause charity.
OUT AND ABOUT
Will Smith spent about an hour running a treadmill yesterday afternoon at Sweat Gym (45 N. 3rd). The Overbrook native superstar told gym members that he was in town for a while and would probably be back at the gym soon. * UFC Fighter Tito Ortiz was the guest of honor at Zee Bar (100 Spring Garden) Saturday night for UFC 133 afterparty. Despite being beaten by Rashad Evans, Ortiz was in good spirits and took pictures with fans, including some police officers on his way out. UFC fighters Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Uriah Faber also hung out as did Big Black from MTV's "Rob and Big," local Bellator champ Eddie Alvarez and UFC announcers Mike Goldberg, Mark Deligrate and ring announcer Bruce Buffer. Zee Bar and Delilah's GM Alp Aktan treated Ortiz and Faber early Sunday to Geno's Steaks. * Speaking of Zee Bar, on Thurs-day it hosts the official after-party for Cole Hamels and wife Heidi's Diamonds and Denim Event, which is to take place earlier that evening at the Crystal Tea Room. Country singer Martina McBride performs, and many of Hamels' Phillies teammates and a slew of reality-TV contestants will be there. Heidi Hamels, the former Heidi Strobel, was a "Survivor" cast mate. * M. Night Shyamalan, wife Bhavna and some friends had drinks at Frankford Hall (1210 Frankford) Friday to celebrate the filmmaker's 41st birthday.
