Philadelphia Police have arrested another member of the department on assault allegations, officials said Friday.
Sean Jang, a 4-year veteran of the department, was arrested Thursday after a scuffle with his ex-girlfriend.
Jang is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful restraint, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and false imprisonment, according to court documents.
Jang, 28, works in the 18th District, which covers West Philadelphia, between Market Street and Baltimore Avenue.
Jang will be assigned to administrative duties in the Differential Response Unit while officials investigate the incident, police said.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 6, and is free after posting 10 percent of his bail which was set at $2,500, according to court documents.
