Daryl Hannah and a gaggle of nonfamous protesters were arrested Tuesday after refusing orders from the U.S. Park Police to move away from the sidewalk in front of the White House. The sit-in was protesting the proposed Keystone XL pipeline, which would run from Canada through six states in the Midwest and Southwest to refineries in Houston and Port Arthur, Texas.

Rachael Ray and crew on Tuesday took over the South Philly crossroads of Passyunk Avenue and Wharton Street, site of a newly constructed community garden behind Pat's Steaks, to shoot a grill-themed episode of her talk show.
Results of a grilling contest featuring Douglas Feldman of Williamstown, Sarah Gulish of Philly, and Stephanie Dumpson of New Castle, Del., are secret till late September, when the episode, featuring performances by Patti LaBelle and Boyz II Men, airs.
