Senior tailback Keith Young carried 24 times for 209 yards and four touchdowns as visiting Bishop McDevitt easily downed Lower Moreland, 40-0, Friday in the nonleague opener for both teams.

The 5-foot-8, 175-pound Young, who came over from West Catholic last year, scored on runs of 49, 1, 20, and 12 yards. On his 49-yard TD, he neatly sidestepped two would-be tacklers along the right sideline.

'He's got excellent speed, but he's also pretty strong," longtime McDevitt coach Pat Manzi said. "We expect him to get better and better."
