Sam Agre, Penn Charter, Jr., defender. Agre was the top defender on the 2010 Inter-Ac-champion Quakers, who posted shutouts in four of their six league wins. Agre should only improve as an upperclassman.
Sean Sheridan, Neshaminy, Sr., midfielder. Sheridan was a first-team all-conference selection a year ago, and the Redskins will rely on him to fortify a roster that has various underclassmen stepping into important roles.
Leonardo Romero, La Salle, Sr., goalkeeper. Romero is an agile, vocal, and athletic goalkeeper good enough to take the Explorers to a state championship. Among his best qualities are his leadership skills and ability to organize his defense on set pieces and corners.
Timothy Lazorko, Holy Ghost Prep, Sr., midfielder. A St. Joseph's recruit, Lazorko was the Bicentennial League MVP as a junior and also earned all-state honors from the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association. The four-year starter scored 11 goals and added 10 assists last year.
Melvin Snoh, Malvern Prep, Sr., midfielder. Snoh exhibits a good first touch on the ball, and can play at high speeds and shoot effectively with both feet. His quickness makes him a successful threat in the attacking third. He has the type of skills that have Georgetown, North Carolina State, and Penn State vying for his services.
Miguel Diaz, Central Bucks East, Sr., forward. A clutch scorer, Diaz has come up with a combined eight game-winning goals in playoff contests over the past two seasons. As a senior, he will burden much of the scoring load up front for the always-in-contention Patriots.
Andrew and Danny Gonzalez, Conestoga, juniors. Twins Andrew and Danny just seem to go hand-in-hand. Andrew, a center back, and Danny, a midfielder, play contrasting styles, but are cogs in the Conestoga system, one in which the twins' older brother, Mike, led the team in scoring last year. What makes the twins so valuable is their versatility. Look for Danny and Andrew to be anchors on a team with high hopes.
