New England Revolution (4-11-11) at Union (8-6-10)

 Last MLS game: The Revolution played the visiting New York Red Bulls to a 2-2 draw on Aug. 20. The Union gave up two early goals and lost, 2-1, at Real Salt Lake on Saturday.

Outlook: This is a makeup game that was postponed from its original date of Aug. 28 due to Hurricane Irene. . .Union rookie Zac MacMath is expected to get his first start in goal due to the broken right index finger of Faryd Mondragon. . .MacMath played a scoreless second half in relief of Mondragon during Saturday's 2-1 loss at Real Salt Lake. . . The Union said Mondragon's surgery went well and he is expected to be out for about four weeks. . . . The Union are 0-3-3 since their last win, a 3-0 triumph on July 17 at New England. . .Defender Carlos Valdes returns for the Union after missing the last game due to yellow card accumulation. . .Union midfielder Keon Daniel will miss the game due to National Team duty for Trinidad and Tobago. . . Sebastien Le Toux has four goals and eight assists for the Union. . .Le Toux scored his first non-penalty kick goal in Saturday's loss. . . The Union are currently ninth in the MLS playoff race, where 10 teams will qualify for the postseason. . .Shalrie Joseph leads New England with seven goals. . .The Revolution are 1-2-4 in their last seven MLS games. . .Midfielder/forward Kenny Mansally, who has made eight starts, is unavailable for the Revs after picking up two yellow cards and a subsequent red in the most recent game with New York. . .Revs keeper Matt Reis has made 249 career MLS appearances.
