Washington had no trouble with host Overbrook (0-2) as the Eagles raced off to a 34-point halftime lead on their way to a 40-0 win.

The Eagles (2-0) rushed for five touchdowns, including three from senior Hakeem Sillman, who now has five on the season. Alfonso Augustine rushed for two scores and Kendall Truitt hauled in a 50-yard touchdown from David Gavrilov.

Mastbaum 22, Edison 0 - After giving up 34 points in its season opener, Mastbaum's defense rebounded with a shutout effort against the visiting Owls (0-2).

On offense, Mastbaum (1-1) quarterback Joseph Walker threw touchdown passes of 30 and 10 yards to Terrence Davis, and Alan King added an 11-yard touchdown run.

Andre Bryant carried the ball just four times, but gained 71 yards.

Interceptions by Lars Kristiansen, Mitch McCollum and Jason Devenuto helped New Hope-Solebury's defense control visiting Morrisville for a 29-6 victory in a game played at William Tennent.

Connor Hayden directed the Lions' (2-0) offense, completing half of his eight passes for 137 yards, including a pair of touchdown strikes to Julian Kaminoff.

New Hope piled up 236 yards rushing on 31 carries, and Kaminoff opened the scoring with a 3-yard TD run.
