Less lucky was Saturday's Powerball drawing. No one matched all the numbers - 4, 19, 22, 32 and 53, with a Powerball of 24 - and no one won $1 million. The four biggest winners, scoring $200,000 apiece for matching the first first without the Power Play, were sold in the District of Columbia, South Carolina, Indiana and Florida.
Wednesday's Powerball jackpot rose to $25 million for the annuity, $15.1 million for the cash.
On Friday, a Mega Millions ticket sold in Philadelphia became worth $250,000 for matching the first five numbers - 7, 12, 19, 23 and 31 - but not the Mega Ball of 45. It was purchased at La Familia Latina Supermarket, 3357 N. Fifth St.
No one matched all the numbers, but also matching the first five were five tickets sold in Calfornia, two in Texas, and one each in New York, Connecticut and Georgia.
Tuesday's jackpot is up to $54 million for the annuity, $39.1 million for the cash.
Also Friday, a Cash 5 ticket purchased in Cochranville, Chester County, was the only one to match all five numbers, making it worth $225,000. Less taxes, of course.
The numbers drawn in the nightly Pennsylvania Lottery game were 4, 6, 10, 18 and 27.
The ticket was bought at the Turkey Hill at 1074 Gap Newport Pike.
Powerball and Mega Millions are sold in more than three dozen states, including New Jersey and Delaware.
