Tues. S.J. boys’ roundup: Coyle boosts New Egypt

Adam Coyle knocked in Matt Dey's pass in the 85th minute, making New Egypt a 3-2 overtime winner over visiting Riverside on Tuesday in Burlington County League boys' soccer.

The Warriors appeared to take control in the second half, when Travis Ward scored two minutes after intermission and widened New Egypt's advantage to 2-0 in the 50th minute.

Riverside cut the deficit in half with an own goal before the Rams' Rafael Martins tied it in the 75th minute.

In another Burlington County League match, Holy Cross used second-half goals by Conor Chew and John Mackie to defeat visiting Cinnaminson, 2-0. Joe Randozzo made five saves to keep the Pirates off the scoreboard.

Colonial. Austin McCleery opened the scoring 5 minutes, 26 seconds into the second half off a feed from Matt Taylor, and Taylor converted a penalty kick 35 seconds later to send host Haddon Heights past Collingswood, 2-0. Garnets goalie Jon Weaver faced just three shots in recording the shutout.

Anthony Colofranson's four-goal effort paved the way for Gateway's 6-0 win at Lindenwold.

Alex Johnston and Jack Speake scored to back goalie Vincent Del Duca, allowing Haddonfield to edge Sterling, 2-0.

Joey Mingrino and Kyle Redrow had two goals apiece to pace West Deptford's balanced attack in an 8-1 romp at Overbrook.

Zach Curl scored twice and Collin Andrew contributed a goal and an assist as Haddon Township outshot host Paulsboro, 14-1, on the way to a 4-0 victory.

Cape-Atlantic. Sean Ahern's header evened the score with two minutes to go in the second half, enabling host Absegami to draw Hammonton, 1-1.

Max Berardis netted a pair of goals and Kieran Keyser was perfect in the nets for Ocean City, which took command early and cruised to a 4-0 victory at Oakcrest. Falcons keeper Ryan Costello came through with 15 saves.

Scot Price had a goal and an assist to help Millville hold off host Atlantic City, 3-2. Juan Perez had both goals for the Vikings.

Penn-Jersey. Adam LaGrange's goal snapped a scoreless tie with 11 minutes remaining in regulation, lifting host Life Center over Solebury School, 1-0.

Matt Czyzewski (1 goal, 2 assists) paced Doane Academy, which placed eight players in the scoring column in an 8-2 rout of visiting International Christian.

Nonleague. Dan Richards and Andy Schultz scored two goals apiece, Tim Latimer dealt a pair of assists, and Ethan Magaziner and Kyle Price took turns in goal for host Moorestown Friends in a 5-0 conquest of Medford Tech.
