Colonial. Casey Pietroforte's hat trick keyed the Gateway attack and Mackenzie Garlock made six saves in recording a shutout, as the host Gators took down Lindenwold, 6-0.
Tarryn Bundy had two goals and Danielle McKeown and Chelsea Ritchie added two assists apiece, highlighting West Deptford's 8-1 win over visiting Overbrook.
Haddon Heights received production from a number of sources in cruising, 6-0, at Collingswood. Taylor Nichols had three goals and an assist, Regan Tustin scored twice, and Ally Glickman contributed a goal and two assists in support of goalie Sam Branningan (two saves).
Patrice Maro had two goals for host Haddon Township, which peppered Paulsboro keeper Raven Robinson with 32 shots in coasting to a 5-0 win.
Cape-Atlantic. Host Mainland picked up its first win of the season with a second-half surge that put away Vineland, 7-3. Abby Carey and Jessica Mann had three goals apiece, and Maddie Wilscroft set up a pair of scores.
Nonleague. Brianna Howarth put on a ballhandling exhibition, scoring four times and dealing three assists, in directing host Moorestown Friends to a season-opening 8-2 triumph over Medford Tech. Vanessa Kara added two goals and an assist for the Foxes, who raced to a 6-1 first-half lead.
Field Hockey
Shannon Lawson, Ali Stever, and Jacquie Fenton combined for four goals and two assists in Ocean City's 5-1 win at Mainland in the Cape-Atlantic League.

Danielle White's goal midway through the second half proved to be enough for Middle Township to escape with a 1-0 win at Lower Cape May. Kate Kelly stopped five shots in posting the shutout.
Host Millville remained undefeated by getting two goals from Angela Jackson in a 4-0 whitewash of Oakcrest.
Colonial. Tenaya Clark and Allie Nugent pumped in three goals apiece to fuel Haddonfield's 10-0 home rout of Sterling.
Tri-County. Kaeli Renzi led the way with two goals as GCIT opened its season with a 4-0 win at Penns Grove.
Pennsville goalie Emily MacGrath was credited with 31 saves, but the Eagles provided little offensive support as visiting Gloucester cruised, 5-0. Abbey Meyer's two goals paced the Lions.
