Carpenter Technology Corp. announced a $30 million expansion of its powder products plant in Torshalla, Sweden, to meet rising demand.
The Wyomissing company's powder products unit produces gas atomized power metal products, which are used in a variety of industries.
The project, which will double the plant's capacity, includes a new building and installation of a melting/gas atomization unit. -Paul Schweizer
