Soccer tournament set for Penn Charter

The Penn Charter B+ Soccer Invitational will be held Friday and Saturday, featuring four top high school boys' programs, including nationally ranked St. Benedict's Prep of Newark, N.J.

In the opening game at 3:15 p.m. Friday, Salesianum, the defending Delaware champion, will play the host Quakers, the defending Inter-Academic League champs. In the 5 p.m. nightcap, St. Benedict's, No. 2 in the ESPN poll, will meet Wissahickon, a PIAA quarterfinalist last season when it went 18-1-1.

The Trojans will play Salesianum at 10 a.m. Saturday. At noon, the Quakers will face St. Benedict's.
