Thurs. S.J. boys’ roundup: Haddon Twp. downs W. Deptford

Haddon Township surrendered a goal for the first time this season, but the host Hawks - ranked fifth by The Inquirer - rallied late to edge West Deptford, 2-1, on Thursday in Colonial Conference boys' soccer.

The Eagles broke through against Township's defense, which had posted five consecutive shutouts, when Kyle Redrow scored six minutes into the second half.

Pat Burns tied it with eight minutes remaining, and Zach Curl banged in the game-winner off a pass from Matt Butrica with two minutes to go in regulation.

Tri-County. Joey Fiore's goal in double overtime made Williamstown a 2-1 winner at Delsea.

Greg Conner tipped in Brandon Dean's free kick with 1 minute, 30 seconds to go, lifting host Woodstown over Glassboro, 2-1.

Wildwood defeated Pitman for the first time in six seasons, as Angel Orozco scored twice in leading the Warriors to a 2-1 road win.

Two goals apiece by Brian Palangi and Ousmane Sall sent Deptford to a 5-1 win at GCIT.

Tim Scaffidi had a goal and an assist, and Eric Prasalowicz supplied shutout goaltending as host Gloucester Catholic blanked Penns Grove, 4-0.

Brent Greco's hat trick led the offense and goalie Zach Jeffers notched the shutout as host Schalick sailed past Clayton, 5-0.

Cape-Atlantic. Middle Township goalie Steven Hand stopped 11 shots, and Jacob Cowan (goal, assist) keyed the offense in a 2-0 home triumph over St. Augustine.

Jimmy Lampl scored and set up Nick Auleta's goal, carrying host Hammonton to a 2-0 victory over Lower Cape May.
