After allowing a late lead to slip away, Methacton's special teams provided the difference Saturday as the Warriors downed visiting Pioneer Athletic Conference foe Upper Perkiomen, 21-20.

Ryan Harris caught a 16-yard touchdown in the second overtime to hand Upper Perkiomen (1-4, 0-3) a 20-14 lead. The special teams of the Warriors (3-2, 2-1) blocked the ensuing extra point, and they regained possession for their overtime attempt.

Davonte Fung tied the score with a beautiful 7-yard gain, as he had looked down in the backfield before spinning off a would-be tackler. The ensuing extra point was no good, and it looked as if a third overtime was on the way.

But Upper Perkiomen was offsides, and Methacton got another shot. Nick LaPerche nailed the extra point for the win.
