Matt Rambo said he took his time with his college decision, and he had good reason to. One of the nation's top lacrosse talents, Rambo had plenty of suitors before he made an oral commitment last week to attend the University of Maryland.
The La Salle High junior midfielder rattled off 58 goals last season after scoring 78 as a freshman at Abington. He transferred to the Explorers a month before the start of last season.
He said he went to La Salle to boost his grades.
At Maryland, Rambo plans to major in either business or education. After two visits to College Park, Rambo said he enjoyed the atmosphere and the large size of the campus, where he attended a Terrapins basketball game.
