Thurs. Pa. boys' roundup: Truman upends C.B. South

Mike Camacho's second goal of the game was scored with 1 minute left in the second half, snapping a 2-2 deadlock and giving Truman a 3-2 upset at Central Bucks South in Suburban One League interdivision boys' soccer on Thursday.

Camacho and Furkan Boz scored earlier goals for the Tigers (3-8), while South (9-3-1), ranked No. 8 in Southeastern Pennsylvania by The Inquirer, got goals from Matt Gilbert and Mike Serban to set the stage for Camacho's late dramatics.

Also in the Suburban One, Kyle Rocks set up Dan Sheppard for Abington's first goal late in the first half, and the Ghosts blanked host Neshaminy for the second time this season, 2-0.

Brian Clemens' goal with 18 minutes left was the game-winner for North Penn in a 2-1 win at Hatboro-Horsham.

Ches-Mont. Coatesville sophomore Zach Grim scored his first varsity goal with 14 minutes left to beat host Sun Valley, 2-1. Jah Momo Wilson assisted Grim and scored the Red Raiders' first goal.

Del-Val. Derick Ezunkpe scored the last goal of the first half and the first goal of the second half for a 2-0 while sparking Academy Park's 4-0 win over visiting Chichester.

Bicentennial. Cody Caroff and Matt Beljan scored goals 9 minutes apart in the first half and Christopher Dock held on for a 2-1 win over visiting Springfield (Montco).

Second-ranked Holy Ghost Prep blanked visiting Lower Moreland, 4-0, with Tim Lazorko's four-goal game and two assists by Colin O'Neill.

Goals by Jeremy Marklund and Yoon Chung scored the goals that lifted Delco Christian past visiting New Hope-Solebury, 2-1.

Public. Boys' Latin rallied from a 2-1 halftime deficit to beat host Olney, 3-2, on Jon McDowell's goal 5 minutes into overtime.

Bok saw a 2-0 halftime lead disappear, but rallied for a 4-3 overtime victory against visiting Engineering & Science on Juan Hernandez's second goal of the game, assisted by Natalio Montoya. Hernandez had assisted David Feng's tying goal with 3 minutes left in regulation.

Friends Schools. Germantown Friends was short one player when Diego Sanz deAcedo headed in a goal with a minute remaining to beat host Friends Select, 2-1.

Mid-Atlantic Prep. Hill School goalie Ted Wolter earned his fifth shutout, 2-0, over visiting Peddie School by making three saves, and getting goals by Mark Forrest and Jose Rodriguez.

Tri-County. Dylan Badawy and Peter Gould assisted each other's goals in the first half of Del-Val Friends' 2-1 win at Mercy Vocational.

Daniel Horowitz's second goal of the game was scored with 12 minutes left, putting Barrack Hebrew in front of host Collegium Charter en route to a 3-2 win.

Phelps boosted its record to 7-0-1 with a 4-2 triumph at Perkiomen School. A.J. Bishop netted two goals, Francisco DeLeon and Sam Mamlouk had a goal apiece, and Nick Pember provided two assists.

Nonleague. Shipley freshman Konrad Bulanowski and senior Steve Gentry each posted their first career goals as part of a 3-0 win over visiting Episcopal Academy.

George School goalie Simon James made 16 saves and allowed the Cougars to escape with a scoreless tie against visiting Pennington.
