Camden man fatally shot while sitting in car

A Camden man was fatally shot in the city on Wednesday, authorities said Thursday.

Kano Nakia Williams, 30, was shot around 4:40 p.m. in the first block of 21st Street as he sat in the driver's seat of a stopped green Lexus, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Camden police said.

Williams tried to drive away after being shot but crashed into the back of a Jeep Cherokee, authorities said.
