Tues. S.J. boys’ roundup: Eppright hits 300 mark

Haddon Heights boys' soccer coach Jeff Eppright reached 300 career wins on Tuesday, as Matt Taylor pumped in four goals to lead the Garnets to a 6-0 victory at Lindenwold in a Colonial Conference match.

Dan Hovern and Kevin Miller also scored, while goalie Jon Weaver faced just two shots in the dominant performance.

Eppright, whose overall record stands at 300-135-41, said of reaching the milestone, "It's a great reflection on the kids and the program. They're the ones who do the hard work and put the ball into the net."

In another Colonial Conference match, Alex Johnston deposited a pass from P.K. Schlitt in the 34th minute, and Vincent DelDuca made the lead stand up with seven saves as Haddonfield held on to edge host Gateway, 1-0.

Second-half goals by Kevin Everingham and Isiaah Owens sent Woodbury to a 2-0 victory at Collingswood.

Olympic. Grgo Sevo put Triton on top in the first half, but host Cherry Hill West evened the score on a goal by Pascal Dylewicz in the second half, and the teams played on through two overtime periods to a 1-1 draw.

Lenape jumped on top on a first-half goal by Bobby Briggs, and Indians goalie Nick Maricondi stopped seven shots to earn a 1-0 win at Cherry Hill East.

Burlington County. Mayron Vieira and Darren Thomas scored two goals apiece, and Maple Shade goalie Shane Beavers (six saves) notched his fifth shutout of the season in pacing the host Wildcats past Riverside, 7-0.

Faruk Ozdemir had a goal and an assist to pace Burlington City's balanced attack in a 5-0 romp at Willingboro.

Jon Mackie knocked in a feed from Michael Wiseley midway through the second half and Joe Randazzo earned the shutout with seven saves, leading host Holy Cross over Rancocas Valley, 1-0.

Adam Coyle and Hunter Lang supplied the scoring while Ryan Grasso and Kyle Ingenbrandt split the goaltending duties for New Egypt, keying the Warriors' 2-0 victory over visiting Florence.

Tri-County. Justin Veltri scored and picked up an assist when his 50-yard indirect free kick was headed in by Connor Wilsbach, highlighting host Oakcrest's 2-0 triumph over Pitman.

Cape-Atlantic. Joseph Gaunt headed in a pass from Chase TenBrook 2 minutes, 30 seconds into overtime, lifting host St. Augustine over Mainland, 2-1. Hermits goalie James Higbee made a dozen saves while his counterpart, Matt Broomall, stopped 10 shots for the Mustangs.

Kent Miller tapped in a corner kick by Elijah Broadnax with 40 seconds left in regulation, and sophomore keeper Gavin Woodrow posted a shutout in his varsity debut, as visiting Middle Township clipped Cape May Tech, 1-0.

Marco Cruz scored in the final minute of regulation, completing Vineland's 3-2 come-from-behind win at Atlantic City. Adu Akwasi had both Vikings goals.

Jose Mayo's header with 10 minutes to go in the second half made Bridgeton a 1-0 winner at Wildwood Catholic.

Friends Schools. Ethan Carilli volleyed home a rebound from 8 yards out with less than 2 minutes to play, giving host Moorestown Friends a dramatic 2-1 triumph over Friends Select.

Nonleague. Joe DeMarco had a hat trick and Tyler Heupel chipped in a pair of assists in Doane Academy's 5-1 win at Camden County Tech.
