Syndicated morning-radio host Tom Joyner
, heard here on 100.3 WRNB, will be at the Pennyslvania Convention Center this afternoon, giving out $45,000 in cash.
Most of it is already claimed by radio contest winners, but the event that's open to the public also boasts a $500 prize for the largest sign that says "I made the big switch to 100.3 WNRB," or $500 for the most creative sign with that phrase. Ten people also will be chosen at random to win $100.
The event runs from 3 to 5 p.m.
