Two women were shot Monday night in the city's Overbrook section, police said.
The shooting was reported at 8:18 in the 5800 block of Malvern Avenue, police said. Police found a 37-year-old woman shot once in the right forearm. She was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she was listed in stable condition.
A second victim, a 61-year-old woman also shot in the right forearm, was taken to Lankenau Medical Center. No arrests were reported. - Robert Moran
