Four arrested in East Goshen home invasion

A violent home-invasion robbery on Aug. 26 in Chester County resulted in the arrests Friday of four Delaware County residents, police said Tuesday.

Markeda Murray, 27, and Anton "Shabazz" Johnson, 41, both of Woodlyn; Kareem Isiah Mason, 18, of Chester; and Cory Jeffrey Pimley, 22, of Glen Mills, are charged with forcing their way into the home of an East Goshen Township couple who had just returned from grocery shopping about 11:30 p.m., shooting one of the victims, and stealing money and valuables, police said.

Johnson is also charged with trying to avoid police on Oct. 14, said Westtown-East Goshen Detective William Cahill. He said all four defendants were in custody after failing to post bail ranging from $75,000 to $1,000,000. - Kathleen Brady Shea
