Lily Goldberg posted a 6-0, 6-1 win at third singles and Central beat Washington, 3-2, for the third time this season, clinching the Public League girls' tennis championship at the Arthur Ashe Center yesterday.
The Lancers (13-0), who have won the league title while going unbeaten for the third straight year, added doubles wins by Laura Haak and Natalie Fox, and Kathy Do and Andria Dang. Central will face Cardinal O'Hara tomorrow in the District 12 Class AAA final.
