Trenton Catholic earned the right to face top-seeded Wardlaw-Hartridge in Thursday's South Jersey Non-Public B quarterfinals, as the eighth-seeded Iron Mikes used a first-half goal by Isis Young to edge No. 9 seed Cardinal McCarrick, 1-0, in a first-round match.
Marissa Jenkins made five saves in posting the shutout.
In another South Jersey Non-Public B opener, No. 10 seed Doane Academy made its tournament debut in a 6-1 loss at No. 7 seed Timothy Christian.
