* Speaking of the Beebs, the wee singer took home Best Male and Best Pop at the MTV European Music Awards, in Belfast.
Of course its Best Pop that may have gotten the Beebs in trouble with Mariah Yeater.
Lady Gaga took home four MTV EMAs, including Best Female, Best Song and Best Video for "Born This Way," and Biggest Fan, which honors the star with the most committed fan base.
As opposed to the fan base most in need of being committed, in which case Gaga wins anyway.
30 Seconds to Mars won two awards - for Best World Stage (whatever that means) and Best Alternative. 30 Seconds to Mars' cousin Bruno Mars won awards for Best Push (huh?) and Best New Artist. Eminem was named Best Hip Hop - beating out the Philadelphia 76ers mascot. Katy Perry took home Best Live, while Linkin Park was chosen Best Rock, beating out shale.

Queen received the Global Icon award and were accompanied in the show's closing medley by "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert. Selena Gomez hosted and kept a close eye on the Beebs.
* Andy Williams, 83, told the crowd at his Branson Christmas show Saturday night that he has bladder cancer. Best of luck, Andy. * In other cancer news, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of the Who pledged Friday to raise money to renovate part of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center pediatric floor into a separate space for patients ages 15 to 25. The effort is being supported by other rockers, including Robert Plant. The goal is to create rooms clustered around a common lounge area where young patients can hang out with one another. * In sort-of couples news, Richie Sambora is thrilled to be back with Denise Richards, Lauren Conrad has split with Derek Hough, and Brody Jenner got in a bar fight over his girlfriend du jour, Avril Lavigne. He ended up in the hospital with a new scar. * Aretha Franklin was honored Saturday night at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that Lauryn Hill, Dennis Edwards of the Temptations and Chaka Khan were among those who entertained. The Queen of Soul, 69, was not scheduled to perform, but toward the end of the event took a seat at a piano and traded verses with Edwards in "A Song for You." Aretha received a key to the city from Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and an honorary doctorate of humane letters from Case Western Reserve University. * Kim Kardashian was in Minnesota over the weekend, either pretending that she was interested in saving her marriage or pretending she wished to be civil about the divorce. TMZ.com says that while Kim is in the Twin Cities, she and her soon-to-be ex will meet with the minister who married them. Refund? - Daily News wire services contributed to this report.
